ran into this cool ass donkey while riding bike in Victoria, Texas
Shoutout to out the Donkey, real chill dude he was just eating grass and thats really it loll We started watching the movie while in Denver on a snowy night.
My guy Jeff said it was a must watch. So we started to watch it but we fell asleep a little into the movie but I knew I had to finish it. The conversation to start the movie off and how all the characters handled themselves reeled me in. Time passed by and yesterday I finished watching the movie and I have to say Jeff was right. It's a must see. Great Cast One of the few movies with an ending that leaves you satisfied. And the way Quentin approached what you saw versus what you knew was very unique. O wow I just found out this was his debut movie. What a fucking intro! Another strong point is that this is an independent film. More power to ya. Woman Of The YearElba Torres Diaz A Warrior, a Fighter, a Champion. She went from the most hated to the most favorite but would you rather but underpaid or overrated. A Risk taker, a Leader, a Visionary. An inspiration, Elba Diaz Torres will fight for what she believes in. Using her mental strength and will as tools to reach success. Her work ethic is real. Her passion is unmatched. The fire in her heart blazes like the sun. Elba is my stepmother. At first I disliked her because I felt like she was trying to take my mother’s place. I first met her when I was 11 in her native Dominican Republic. During this time I loved to see her because that meant it was vaca time. A couple years later she moved in with my father and I in Sayreville, NJ. That’s when things became real. My mother passed from leukemia when I was 9 years old. So for another woman to live in the same house as my mother really offended me and it genuinely hurt. I was not welcoming. I wouldn’t talk to her and I basically acted like she wasn’t even there. As a child I didn’t understand that I was hurting her feelings by doing that. She never did anything to me but yet I treated her with no care. She cooked dinner every night, cleaned the house, and most importantly she made my father happy. People don’t know how lonely it is to lose the only woman you’ve ever loved. As the years passed my attitude didn’t budge. My girlfriend at the time had a great relationship with her and she would encourage me to talk to her but I was so stuck in my ways that I didn’t even attempt to talk to her. Fast forward a couple years later now Elba is pregnant. Even during her pregnancy I was acting very inconsiderate. I still didn’t talk to her, I would always have company over the house even when she needed peace and quiet. At this time I had taken my resentment too far. My perspective changed one faithful day. Once she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, everything changed. Eliana, the baby girl, was the bridge of communication to our future relationship. We finally had something in common. We both love Eliana with everything we have. Now as Eliana is growing Elba and I are speaking more frequently each day but I felt like I had to make a decision. And that decision was to move out of our home. At the time I just felt like things weren’t all the right inside our home. One morning, I woke up, packed up everything I needed to move on and moved to the Lower East Side of Manhattan. It was the saddest ever to leave my sister. She was only 4 at the time and she knew I was leaving. She told me not leave and I held her and we started crying in each other’s arms on the floor of my room. As heart wrecking as it was I felt like I need to make the move. So fast forward and now I’m living in NYC and I come back home to visit as often as I can. Every time I come, I have a small conversation with Elba. And every time I come back to visit I feel like our relationship is getting better and better. This past year we’ve talked to each other more than the past 7 years combined. She’s giving wisdom and I’m taking it and living by it. I want to make her proud because I value her opinion. Its funny when you really get to know someone you find out how smart, funny, and how much of a great person they are. I’ve grown to admire Elba and the amazing way she’s raising Eliana. She’s transformed our house into a beautiful home. It’s mind blowing how people are in your life, literally right in front of your face, and they can impact you at the most unexpected times in the most unexpected ways. I respect Elba’s strength, courage, and wisdom. She truly has all the qualities of a beautiful woman from the inside out. This is what makes here timt.me’s Woman of the Year. You can follow her life @sweet_kiss2226 most inspirationalJeannette Pabon The hardest working woman I know. She’s a full time nurse in Manhattan, which we all can imagine is extremely busy and demanding. She teaches nursing students at her job, influencing the future. She ran and completed the New York City marathon this past year. And that alone takes months of dedicated training. She’s currently pursuing her master’s degree. If you seen the books she has to study your brain would explode instantly. The book itself weighs more than my little sister. Among her many goals and accomplishments she is the proud mother of two, which is the most difficult job of them all. What makes her so inspiring is her perseverance and her drive. Some fight fold under pressure with all these things on their plate. But throughout my life I’ve seen her fight through it all. She is my cousin’s wife but she is more like a mother figure for myself, her niece, her nephew and anyone else who knows her. She’s a provider, a savior, and A BOSS! And she’s not letting nothing slow her down. Anyone that knows her would undoubtably agree she is hands down a commanding presence. She has a heart full of care and soul that was created to help loved ones. And that my friend is why Jeanie is the most… THE MOST Inspirational. Austin Laboy Let me tell y’all about Austin. This dude is a freak of nature. He works with autistic children in a junior high public school in the lower east side. He spends anywhere from 8 to 11 hours of his day in there. He does an after school sports program and he coaches a flag football team with the kids, which he took to the championship round this past year. After his day at school is done then he goes to his favorite Spanish restaurant, Castillos, where his is a beloved regular. He always makes sure to leave a good tip then its a quick train ride back home to the west side of Manhattan where he has his own apartment in the meatpacking district down the block from 1 Oak and The Highline. He quickly changes, puts on his 30 pound weight best and now he’s off to the gym where he is also a famous regular. Now every so often I take the adventure of working out with Austin and let me tell you, it is somewhat fun during the exercise but the next couple days are filled with complete soreness. His workout regimen is intense, fast, and straight to the point just like Austin. The reason Austin is the most inspiration person to me is because of his work ethic. It is day after day, night after night, and never take one off. I admire and respect his hustle, his lifestyle, and his home. He’s only 22 years old with his own apartment in the most attractive place in the world. He inspires me to take my work ethic to a stronger level. He inspires me to get my own apartment because he just flexes with his. His dog is even the coolest dog ever. Her name is Serenity. Such a beautiful contrast. Everything about Austin is inspirational. He inspires his friends, his haters, his co workers, the people at his gym, people on the basketball court and on the football field. A wise man said that you can not drown in your own sweat and with that said I hope this year my work ethic can be just as good as Austin’s. You can try to keep up with him @seagreenmachine man of the yearMr David Ochoa Dave is a rare breed of human being. He is an inspiration to the world. A legend in his hood. Some know him by the name of David but today in this social media driven world he is also known as “Capturedbydavee”. From the first time I met Dave, about 5 years ago, I know he was an energetic soul with a keen sense of knowing what is next. He’s a visionary. His style is so clean, effective, and beautifully basic. But that’s not what makes Dave the Man of the Year. The reason for that is for his actions during this past year. Dave picked up a camera and what gradually began to formulate was beauty, hard work, growth, and most importantly art. In front of our eyes we seen Dave mature, in the matter of months, to an artist with camera. The world is his canvas and the camera his brush. He’s so passionate and particular about his art. He embodies the name Capturedbydavee. And what really solidified his spot as Man of the Year was when we went up to alma matter in Rochester. John and I had a show at Ithaca college which was nearby so we stood a couple nights at Dave’s place which was about an hour away from Ithica. We got the chance to see where this idea of Capturedbydavee was invented. Rochester is Dave’s sanctuary. Its his place of meditation and peace. His place of inspiration and experimentation. During the time of our stay Dave was taking multiple photography classes, expanding his knowledge of his craft. He explained to me what he was learning, how he was spending time in his college’s dark room developing photos and then he showed me something that completely blew my mind. Something that I could never forget. It was a different kind of picture printed out on a different kind of paper. It just shoed what seemed like an empty bench on an empty street. Black & White. I asked Dave… What is this? And then he said it… The statement that bought him to the top of the list. He had built his own functional camera from scratch! Now this wasn’t the type of camera you can buy at best buy. The way he explained to me, it was the type of camera that took time to capture a photo. A beautiful hand crafted camera. The story behind the picture posted on the refrigerator of his Rochester apartment embodied everything that Capturedbydavee is and everything he will become to be. You can follow Dave’s journey at @capturedbydavee Clutch man Eduardo Rosa This man is a men of all men A warm hearted soul who puts the well being of the people he cares for in front of his own. Eddie’s the type of friend that wants to see the best for you. He wants you to succeed and be the best you that you can be. And he would do anything and everything to help you on your journey to becoming great. Without Eddie I wouldn’t be in the amazing position I am in life right now. I wouldn’t have a job that allows me to travel the world. I wouldn’t have had the chance to visit LA, Puerto Rico, Rochester, Kansas, Mexico, and Columbia. When I ran into trouble he was always there for support and made sure I got back on my feet. He’s one of the few people I’ve met that is genuine, giving, and unselfish. An overall great person. Karma is on Eddie’s side right now. He puts the good out there and now its his turn to receive. This year is going to be a great year for this young man. Watch out for the good hearted business man who is Eduardo Rosa. Follow my guy at @e_ddi3_ Boy BandsT.R.I.P. About 2 years ago we were all hanging out in my good friend Shan’s living room. Now usually when I connect with Shan we discuss music and everything about it. It was early into our afternoon when Dom & Woody stopped by. These would be the men who make up T.R.I.P. We were all chilling in the living room while Dom & Woody were telling us about their musical aspirations. They told us how they were working on a mixtape and how they were about to fuck the game up. Fast forward to the present day. They dropped their debut mixtape, which was fuegos, and they’re doing non stop shows while consistently recording new material. They’re basically doing everything they said they were going to do back in 2013 which is a very rare and special thing to witness. T.R.I.P. inspires me to keep working and to keep pushing the limit. We’re all from the same small town in Jersey. Sayreville is a place that has raised many great artist over the past 50 years. Its only getting better with our generation and the generations coming. Look out for Dom & Woody’s solo projects coming to a speaker near you. You can listen to their first project here. I guarantee you they both have some hot fire on the way. @tripmusicgroup HIGH2U2 2 strangely similar people. Both in the same place for the same time by chance. Magic was bound to be created. John and Rah started off as co workers in a dog sitting store, looking after Manhattan’s wealthiest dogs while trying to figure out what they want to do for their future. They say no creative work is ever the product of one person alone and that can’t be any truer in this situation. From the depths of Happy Paws rose 2 superstars. From freestyling in dog room to recording hits in the studio, these guys have come a long way as a collective and things only look brighter. With hit songs flooding streets such as “Stuntin” and “Up Next” this duo is bound for greatness. Raheem, a father and John an actor combine for something special. Look out for the HIGH2U2 project coming this year. @jdbanks_ @emmet_trill COMPANY ON THE RISEHomies Wonderland NEW YORK! LES! HIP HOP! STAND UP! Ha Ha Homies Wonderland. Their store is located at (plug) and they have a lot of quality and durable clothing. I found out about the Homies through my cousin John who randomly modeled for them on their bench of fame. He continued to model their clothes in his music videos and they continued to hook him with some dope pieces. I know the store in the Lower is going to keep growing over time and I know I will see Homies Wonderland everywhere in the world. Great People Who Create Quality Clothing. Homies Wonderland is definitely a company you guys should look out for very soon. You can visit their store at 15 Essex Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. You can follow them @homieswonderland FAVORITE EPLiz - Just Like You EP I remember the first song I've ever heard of hers was called XTC and I fell in love. The way the production and her voice came together on that song and that way it was arranged and when the drums came in... it was just so beautiful to me. Her project is flamess!!!!! The production is a perfect blend of rnb, pop, jersey club, trap and her voice flows so perfectly over the production landscape. Her songwriting is serious jones. Her Melanies are so smooth. The sound is so different and playful. I mean she is signed to Diplo so she has to be fire. But y'all should def party to her wave. Very wavey stuff people. check out her wave at LIZY2K Favorite AlbumDaley - Days & Nights Daley's music is timeless, pointblank. His voice is amazing, as you can see in the video below. I read an interview that he worked for 2 years on this album and he said he put everything he had into it and I 100% believe that. The songs on this album are epic, beautiful, powerful, and very personal. The messages in his music are so relatable. My favorite song off of this album is called 'Be'. In 'Be' he's talking about riding around with his girl and you know when you just have that silence between each other and you don't know what to say, in the song he makes that silence alright, like at some times you don't need to say anything just you being here is good enough. Its deep stuff people. The story behind the video below is a funny one. At work one day my co worker randomly bought up Daley, and to me I thought no one I knew would know about Daley but to my pleasant surprise I had someone to talk with about Daley's music. My co worker was actually a true fan. He had been following Daley for years now and he'd seen him live multiple times. Twice in NYC and once in Oregon out of all places lol. So he started showing me all this footage he had taken on his phone from the concerts he had been too. I found it amazing. First because I haven't met another Daley fan yet and secondly because he had seen him live 3 times already and the time on Oregon was purely by luck. He was visiting Oregon and he walked by a theater and he seen Daley's name on the bill for that night and he bought his ticket right there in then. I'm telling you, music is the glue that holds us together. It keeps our heads up after a long day of work. It pushes us to go farther in life. Music inspires us to be better people. Music can make you feel so many different ways and can effect you so deeply. Daley is living proof of how music can change your life. I admire him and I know he will definitely be one of the greats of our generation. I look forward to one day collaborating with him on some epic music. Definitely check out his album on iTunes or where ever else you can get your hears on it. Daley - Days & Nights And as a last note, all that matters is your happiness.
Do what makes you happy. Everlasting Happiness. Enjoy the Journey My Friends. Follow Your Fantasy. I've only witnessed about 6% of the work that went into this project at the studio and in that time I was inspired to the point of no return. Shan's enthusiasm and his love and depth for this project was something special to see now that I look back on it. I'm really happy and blessed to that I was there as pieces of this EP came together. I would def say this is a story. It sounds like an excerpt out of a movie. The mix is great. The way each song flows into each other is beautiful. The theme of the EP just keeps building up until you reach 96 Romeo and then its just amazing. Great stuff man. I can't say enough. But enjoi it yourself.
viamoonlight.com Its amazing to do something with a group of people for years, I’m talking like we all grew up together now we’re grown and we’re still laughing together and i think thats the most important thing to me
its means so much to me to spend time with these people to think with these people to see the world with these people who I call my brothers i love these niggas because we all know who each other truly is and we still have a longggg journey to go and i feel excited just thinking about it i love y’all niggas for real man shoutout to OG_Light So back in November John and I were invited as guest to perform at a Unity Banquet that my best friend's girlfriend was putting together. I jumped at the opportunity and we worked on a couple of different songs and we ended up choosing an uplifting song by the name of Get Up. The night before our performance we got lucky because the song was still not all the way ready for performance and by chance John's college mates ended up being willing to work with us on some music. So we all went out the night before to a local bar in Rochester and afterwards we took it back to the apartment. I pulled out my laptop, threw on what we had so far and we just started vibing. What came out was an ending part where our good friend sang on and our good man Tom Timani came on it and polished it up. The next day we went to the banquet which was a very enlightening event. There were spoken word artists, break dancers, and a guest speaker who was a professor who bought up a very intersting point of view on what society makes unity to be. In short she was saying that society makes unity a term that makes people conform instead of debate and she was very right. And she gave the floor for anyone to challenge her point of view. It was a great night. We got on and performed and got a great response from the crowd. We're still working to professionally finish the Get Up track and as soon as its done we'll definitely get it up out to you guys in performance and in song.
*all pictures and footage taken by David Ochoa @capturedbydavee Mann this dude is a sharp shooter! I was at work and someone had radomnly put on a ufc fight. And as I'm watching the fight unfold, I'm seeing Edson Barboza tear his opponent apart with beautiful strikes, combos, leg kicks, takedown defense. I mean he looks so comfortable like he was born to do this. So the next day I look him up and he was born to do this. He's been fighting since he was a baby and it shows. I spent a couple hours looking through youtube videos about him and he's a real humble dude. Trains hard, thanks god, and bounces back from a lose like a champ. Below I put a insight into his life and the last vid is a fight showing off his hard work. Check him out he's a real inspiration for hard work and dedication. Shoutout to Edson man. Mann lately I been really interested in Mike Tyson. I seen a really good documentary on him that talked about his rise and it really opened my eyes up to Mike how great of a fighter he was. And how young he was when he was champion of the world. He was only 19, 20 with all the money, fame, and basically everything a person at that age could dream of. In the documentary it showed a side of Mike I've never seen. An emotion person with insecurities. I mean who would ever think of Mike Tyson like that. At times he was a boxing God and at other times he was just a teenager/young adult learning about the hardships of life alone. I mean his story is really touching and inspiring. He's a good dude with a good heart. Someone who's family is his 1st priority, and i respect that and admire him for that so I just wanted to share this with y'all. Here's the doc if you got time to watch it |
